We are so excited to be joining the team at The Revillaging Project in 2023!

Over the course of 2023, we will be exploring some of the following programs, based on students' interests: live performance, shadow puppetry, silent filmmaking, mini docos, role play, social stories, improvisation and more. Students will gain a number of skills that will help them to feel comfortable when speaking to a crowd, performing on a stage or in front of a camera. This will be achieved through fun, yet gentle drama games, movement activities and skills based workshops.

SSoCA's Artistic Director, Melanie McLean will be running these classes. Melanie's approach is very nurturing and celebratory of all the achievements. Whether it's performing in a group, or stepping up on stage for the first time. There will be numerous milestones and creative goals achieved throughout each term. Melanie's experience as a teacher means that she is regularly taking anecdotal notes regarding student growth, which can be discussed with parents on a regular basis.
